My name is Myrthe and I studied 'Life Science & Technology' at both the Delft University of Technology and Leiden University. My first internship was at the Leiden University Medical Center, in Leendert Trouw's Complement & Antibodies group. However, I was drawn to cancer and immunology research, which led me to join the group of Niels Bovenschen for my second Master's internship, focusing on CAR-NK cell therapy for Medulloblastoma. After completing my Masters in April 2024, I rejoined the group as a research technician. During my internship, I had the opportunity to initiate this research alongside Matthijs Monnikhof, and I am excited to now continue working with him to further develop our work in this promisingĀ field.
